Imphal, November 25 2016: A 16-day international campaign to gender based violence began today at Tribal Research Institute, Chingmeirong.

The campaign is being organised by the Women in Governance � WinG Manipur.

Manipur State Commission for Women Chairperson Dr Keisham Sobita, ISTV Network's Editor-in-chief Brojendro Ningombam and WinG Ukhrul member Jayenti Keishing graced the inaugural function of 16-day campaign as chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively.

The campaign is organised with an aim end to the increasing cases of violence against women.
