Thoubal, September 25 2019: As observed every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lamyanba Hijam Irabot in the month of September, United People's Administrative Council (UPACO) Manipur today organized a tree plantation drive in association with Langmeidong Maning Makha Leikai Women's Development Organisation during which about 500 tree saplings were planted from Langmeidong to Maramba maril which is about 2.5 km long.

The programme was kicked off by the brand ambassador of "Go Green" Velentina Elangbam and Secy Gen of the organization Y Basanta.
