UNC urges Meeteis, Kuki to hold dialogue

Imphal, August 25 2024:
United Naga Council (UNC) Peace Committee has once again appealed to the Meeteis and the Kuki-Zo communities to hold dialogue.
The Naga peace committee stressed the importance of dialogue saying that delay in holding dialogue is not helping anyone.
In a statement, UNC Peace Committee said better understanding can come only through dialogue.
It continued that lack of dialogue in Manipur is one of the key factors aggravating the situation in the state.
As such, the Naga peace committee stressed "relationship among communities in Manipur will definitely improve if dialogue is given utmost importance" .
