Lilong NP holds cleanliness drive

Imphal, September 24 2017: A cleanliness drive was organised by Lilong Nagar Panchayat at Chajing, Imphal West today .

CAF & PD Minister Karam Shyam who took part in the cleanliness drive said that the drive was conducted as part of Swachhata Hi Sewa campaign which was launched on September 15 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi .

He maintained that the campaign was launched with the objective of making India, a clean country .

He said that Lilong Nagar Panchayat is led by a BJP Councillor as its Chairperson and a LJP Councillor as the Vice-Chairperson .

The Minister assured that he would extend physical and mental support to development programmes taken up by the Panchayat.
