Snake bite victim saved

Imphal, June 24 2011:
Medical Officer Capt Dinesh Bhardwaj at HQ 59 Mountain Brigade provided life saving first aid to a snake bite victim Thiveiro (35) wife of Peter of Shorbung village, Senapati district yesterday.
The lady was bitten by a viper snake and was in semi-unconscious state when she was brought to the MI Room located at HQ 59 Mountain Brigade.
She was treated with anti-snake bite venom immediately by the medical officer, a PIB (DW) Imphal said.
