Imphal, January 23 2018: Two youths were killed in an accident at Tentha Khongbal, Thoubal district at around 6 pm today, when their Activa scooter collided with the trailer of a tractor parked near the road.

According to police source, the two individuals have been identified as Maibam Boinao Singh (20) s/o M Shyam Singh of Tentha Khunjao Mayai Leikai and Langpoklakpam Priyobarta Singh (22) s/o L Nimai Singh of Sapam Laibung Leikai.

The source pointed out that the two deceased individuals were returning after participating in a farewell function, when their Activa collided with the trailer near Tentha multiplex.

They were killed on the spot.

The dead bodies were picked up by a team of Khongjom police and deposited at JNIMS morgue for necessary post mortem.
