Tamenglong, February 22 2015: Tamenglong Battalion of Senapati Brigade under the aegis of Red Shield Division inaugurated an Education cum Community Hall constructed under Military Civic Action programme at Akhui village of Tamenglong district on Feb 21, said a statement issued by the PRO (Defence), Imphal.

Speaking at the occasion, Commandant, Tamenglong Battalion of Assam Rifles asserted that the Red Shield Division is committed towards overall development of the region and is making all out efforts for development of remote areas of Tamenglong district.

The Commandant added that the people should come forward and extend co-operation to achieve peace and overall development of the region thereby achieving normalcy and progress.
