Imphal, September 20 2012: The Core Committee formed in connection with the incident over the assault and life attempt on T Robert Maram by the Manager of Ching-Tam Hotel, North AOC and some uniformed personnel on September 13, has demanded the state government to book the culprits and interrogate them in the presence of the Committee members.

The victim is said to be the President of Senapati District Olympic Association.

While condemning continued threats and discrimination against the minority tribals, the Committee has also asked the people of Senapati district to stand up together for defending themselves against such unwarranted assaults and threats.
