Elderly staffers exempted from poll duty

Imphal, January 18 2022: Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Manipur has announced the exemption of college and university staff who are above 60 years of age from carrying out election duty during the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly Election.

However, District Election Officer can utilise the exempted staff only after a written explanation with valid reason is submitted to the CEO.
