Kuki-Zo Council calls off rally on Centre's request

Imphal, February 17 2025: The Kuki-Zo Council has called off the 'Peaceful Political Rally' scheduled for Tuesday across all Kuki-Zo inhabited districts following a request from the Govern ment of India.

The decision was taken after serious deliberation in an emergency meeting held on Monday evening.

In a statement, the Council expressed gratitude to all Kuki-Zo kindred tribes for their cooperation and support, emphasising that the decision was made in favour of their political movement.

It urged the community to understand the move, assuring that it aligns with their future political endeavours.
