MLA Susindro donates '3.7 lakh to artiste committee

Imphal, June 16 2021: Khurai A/C MLA L Susindro donated a sum of Rs 3,70,000 to All Manipur Artiste Relief Committee, which was formed under the joint aegis of MSSLC and FFM to address the problems faced by state's artistes due to Covid-19 pandemic.

MLA Susindro handed over the monetary aid to the committee at Iboyaima Shanglen located at Palace Compound on Wednesday.

Appreciating the donation made by the MLA, Manipur Artiste Relief Committee convenor Ranjit Ningthouja urged people who love artistes and art enthusiasts to extend help to the relief committee.

Film and Shumang Leela artistes observed also observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to those artistes who have succumbed to Covid-19 .
