MCI team to inspect JNIMS

Imphal, July 15 2014: A delegation of Medical Council of India (MCI) would be coming to inspect the developmental works being taken up in Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) at Porompat in February, 2015 .

Sources said the State Government has been already informed about the proposed visit of the MCI team.

Earlier, an MCI team had inspected the institute to check whether it is equipped with adequate infrastructure and facilities like that of a full-fledged medical institute.

Construction of administrative block and auditorium of the institute is going on in full swing.

The government is targeting to complete the construction by December of this year to satisfy the MCI team, the sources added.
