Bishnupur, March 15 2018: The All Manipur Students Union (AMSU) has urged all the school van/bus drivers plying in and around Bishnupur district to be cautious and take necessary precautions while driving.

A press release issued by secretary general of AMSU Bishnupur district branch stated that numerous mishaps have occurred owing to negligence of drivers like driving with doors open, overloading, exceeding speed limit etc.

It further urged all drivers/owners concerned to refrain from using narcotics and alcohol while driving.

The union further warned that it would take up stringent actions against those drivers or owners if they are found acting against the appeal of the union.
