Imphal, July 14 2015 : Women Voluntary Khurai Konsam Leikai has provided a monetary assistance of Rs 10,000 to Haobijam Reeson of the locality who is undergoing treatment at RIMS hospital after he was injured in the pro-ILPS agitation.

The amount was contributed by every household of Khurai Konsam Leikai, said a statement.

The women's body said that it is unfortunate that the Government is unable to take a concrete stand on the present issue of ILPS implementation.

As such, both ruling and Opposition parties must join hand in taking up the right step towards protection of indigenous people.
