Imphal, May 14 2013: The body of Karam Bishorjit of Kongba, who died at JNIMS Hospital on May 10 after a minor operation, was handed over to his family after an agreement was made between the Joint Action Committee and State government today.

Chief Minister Okram Ibobi made an assurance to the JAC and family members that the medical staffs of JNIMS would not be spared if they were found guilty and necessary action would also be initiated after analysing the post-mortem report.
