Imphal, February 14 2016: A meeting of students (high school, higher secondary and college) of Thoubal district was held today at the office of DESAM Thoubal District Council, which was presided by its head office president Moirangthem Angamba Meitei.

The meeting discuss ways to improve the condition of educational institutions in the district and the ways to com- bat drug abuse effects on students.

It was also decided to elect the new office bearers of its Thoubal district council unanimously for 2016-18 session and elected Ksh Ajay as president, L Rabichandra and L Jeranjit as vice-presi- dent, Oinam Surjakanta as secretary general and W Johnson Kumar as assistant general secretary, according to a press release issued by the secretary publicity and propaganda of DESAM.
