Imphal, January 14 2013:
United Tribals' Liberation Army (UTLA) has called to all the "national workers" to forsake the culture of fraternal killings and enmity among the underground groups in Manipur.
In a statement, Chairman of UTLA S K Thadou observed that 'in order to achieve their personal profit and malicious design, our predecessors sown the fraternal killings and enmity among us that has rendered the entire populace under chaos, confusion and political instability' .
SK Thadou appealed to all the underground groups to avoid the path of fratricidal killing and enmity, and work in hand in hand with commitment for reviving the bond of age-old fraternal relationship among the groups/factions and stand firm to regain/restore the lost kingdom, power with great concern for the prosperity of the State.
He also maintained that signing of SoO by some groups/factions with Manipur government is an indication of suppression for the north east insurgents/national workers after colossal loss of priceless lives.
