Imphal, October 13 2012: The JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO has urged the Chief Minister to revise Dearness Allowance of State employees from 58 % to 65 % wef January 1, 2012 and 65% to 72 % wef July 1, 2012 in line with the Central Govt employees.

In a memorandum, the JAC urged the CM for the enhancement of the DA in line with Central Govt employees' considering the higher price index in the State than other parts of the country.
