Seven Primary schools in Ukhrul inaugurated

Ukhrul, March 13 2018: YAS & Water Resources Minister, Letpao Haokip inaugurated seven primary schools in Ukhrul District in the presence of MLAs Alfred Arthur Kangam, Leishiyo Keishing, Khashim Vashum, today.

During the inaugural programme, the Minister said that owing to the hectic preparations for the visit of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi (along with his Council of Minister to the State), the inauguration for seven primary schools including Tashar primary school, Lambui North primary school, Kasom Phungdhar primary school etc had to be jointly conducted at Lanai Primary school.

Letpao Haokip also acknowledged the efforts and concern of MLA Alfred Kangam Arthur regarding the development of hill districts.
