Historical structure restored

Senapati, October 12 2015:
An old concrete structure bearing the epithet, "World War II - Battle of Maram; Fought on 18 June 1944", which had been displaced from its original position was restored at Maram bazar today with a symbolic ceremony by the Maram Students' Union (MKS), a statement informed.
MKS, with the restoration, endeavours to preserve historical monuments of the State.
The restoration ceremony was conducted under the patronage of OC GREF, AK Singh, 98 RCC/15 BRTF.
MRNBA executive secretary Kaba invoked the blessings while headman Taruhingba unvealed the concrete structure.
