Imphal, December 11 2013: The Infrastructure Learning and Financial Service Ltd (IL&FS) Manipur has held its first graduation ceremony at the institute's premises located at Laipham Khunou.

IL&FS is a private institute tied up with the Ministry of Rural Development, Govt of India and imparts various skill development training programme to underprivileged youth who are living below the poverty line.

In the first batch, a total of 21 trainees are recruited in various services in the State.

Besides providing free training in service sector, computer skill and communication development are also imparted by the institution.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Priyadarshni Laishram, Assistant Commandant of MPTC, Pangei; Konthoujam Tombi Singh, Adhyaksha of Imphal East and Maibam Premjit Singh, State Coordinator of IL&FS.
