Smile train camp at Moreh

Imphal, June 11 2011:
Troops of 31 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) along with the "Smile Train" Shija Hospital, Imphal organised a cleft and palate detection camp at
Moreh on June 9 .
Aggrieved parents brought their children suffering from the condition to the camp and went back with the boon of free surgical treatment at the hospital.
The troops endeavored to spread the message to the far flung areas which resulted in patients coming from remote villages of both India and Myanmar.
The people of Moreh saluted the synergy between the Assam Rifles and civil medical institutions to gift the children a better smiling future, a statement of the IGAR(S) said.
