Imphal, August 09, 2013: Takyel Khongbal Chaokhat Thourang Lup (Takchatlup) today revamped the dilapidated road portions of Naoremthong to Makoi Chingjin.

According to a spokesperson of Takchatlup, necessary amount for today's refurbishment work, which was taken up for the convenience of the general public in view of the onset of rainy season, was donated by Takchatlup executive member Dr Ahongshangbam Surenjit.

He added that the work was part of the development works which Takchatlup has been taking up since past many months.

Saying that similar development works would be taken up in future as well, he appealed to the general public, Government officials concerned and elected political leaders to extend support and co-operation in this regard.
