Imphal, October 08 2015: The All Loktak Lake Area Fishermen's Union, Manipur (ALLAFUM) has extended heartiest congratulations to O Nabakishore Singh on his appointment as the Chief Secretary of the State.

A son of Thanga soil holding such a prestigious post is praiseworthy, a statement issued by the secretary of ALLAFUM said.

The union expressed high hope and expectation that the grievances of Loktak Lake fishermen and other wetland dependants will be addressed.

The union wished him all the best in his future endeavours and asked for the perennial blessings of 'Ema Loktak' on him.
