Assam Rifles conducts security meet

Imphal, January 08 2019: Keithelmanbi Bn of 9 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted its monthly security meet at Singjamei COB to discuss various security aspects, current situation existing in the area, maintenance of strict vigilance, measures to avoid any untoward incidents ie, IED blast, grenade attacks, extortion, maintenance of peace and harmony and to achieve synergy between the locals and AR in view of upcoming Republic Day.

In addition to security matters, other important aspects related to necessities of villagers in terms of CAPs like medical camp and career counselling for youth were also discussed during the meet.

The locals expressed gratitude to AR for conducting such meeting and ensuring peace in the area and assured their commitment and assistance in maintaining the same.
