SMDC rejects SDM inquiry

Imphal, April 07 2015 : Sora Makha Development Club (SMDC) has submitted a written objection to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Kakching and Manipur Home Department regarding the inquiry order asking the SDM Kakching to probe the murder of a minor from Sora Makha Leikai.

A press release issued by SMDC President MD Najimuddin, says that the SDPO Kakching and his team were responsible for the death of (L) Md Naimuddin (a class VI student) S/O Maulana Riyazuddin from Sora Awang Leikai.

The JAC and the residents of Sora Awang Leikai are demanding CBI/NIA inquiry into the case and have rejected the Inquiry by the SDM of Kakching.

They had sent memos to the CM of Manipur and PM of India.

As no response was received, the people and JAC have now filed a case in the court.
