JNIMS College week begins

Imphal, October 05 2015: A five-day JNIMS College Week, Rhythm-2015 celebration was opened today at JNIMS Play ground, Porompat with a unity run by JNIMS students from Konung Lampak to JNIMS Play ground and the lighting of the inaugural lamp by JNIMS Director Professor Deben Singh Laishram.

Hoisting of the JNIMS flag and a march past by JNIMS students followed the opening ceremony.

Speaking at the occasion, Professor Deben Singh Laishram said the celebration of the college week is aimed at promoting good health amongst the students of the institute.

Professor W Gyaneshwar Singh, Dean (Academic), JNIMS and Medical Superintendent Professor W Gopimohan Singh were also present at the opening event.

A friendly football match between JNIMS faculty and students was also played later in the day.
