NEC discusses NER Regional Plan

Imphal, April 05 2017: A meeting was organised at North Eastern Council (NEC), Secretariat, today, where various regional heads of Central Governmental organisations and representatives of ICAR, Ministry of Health, Airport Authority of India, NESAC, UGC, Ministry of Power, Sports Authority of India etc discussed the Regional Plan draft for all round development of the North Eastern region prepared by the NEC.

Speaking at the meeting, CK Das, member of NEC, emphasised on a sustainable regional plan for the region with input and pro-active participation of the various Central Governmental organisations and the respective State Governments.

He also stressed on regular dialogue and interaction on development issues.

Ram Muivah, NEC Secretary briefed the participants on NEC's activities and coordinated the meeting.
