Two WWII-era bombs found

Imphal, August 02 2024:
Two bombs likely to be from Second World War era were unearthed from the residence of one Thokchom Prafulochandra (70) of Keishampat Keisham Leikai under Imphal Police Station on Friday afternoon.
According to a police report, Prafulochandra's family were digging up the ground around 3.30p'm Friday when they unearthed the two bombs.
On receiving news of the discovery, a team of Imphal Police arrived at the scene and safely retrieved the explosives.
