Imphal, July 02 2015 : BJP Manipur Pradesh will organize the second public consultative meeting on the establishment of National Sports University at MDU hall at 1 pm on July 6 .

In a statement, BJP Manipur Pradesh said that one year has passed since the Government at the Centre had announced the establishment of the National Sports University in Manipur and till today the project has not been able to take off because of indecisiveness on the part of the State Government on many issues and incapability in terms of finalizing the actual location of the varsity.

This in turn has marred many opportunities in terms of timely creation of sports infrastructure and generation of sportspersons in Manipur.

Realizing these facts, the party in continuation of its efforts to bring justice to the people of Manipur is set to organise the public consultative meeting, the statement said.
