KSUM hails first Kom IFS

Lamka, February 02 2014: The Kom Students Union Manipur congratulated Serto Esther Laltankim Kom on clearing the Indian Forest Service examination 2013 conducted by UPSC.

Daughter of S Waihmuchung Kom and Rohnieng Kom of Lower Koirentak village in Churachandpur district, Esther is the lone candidate from the State, who made it through the final from 85 others selected from the State, said the statement issued by K Markson Kom President KSUM adding, that she is the first candidate from the Kom community to have cleared the IFS exam.
