Imphal, October 31 2014 : Unidentified miscreants last night broke into the State Bank of India's ATM booth located at Hiangtam Lamka.

However, the cash container remained intact when the break-in was discovered early today, reports our correspondent.

The SBI ATM booth was kept on a small concrete structure meant to house the cash vending machine with steel shutter on its front.

The looter(s) appear to have made their way inside by breaking the shutter's lock.

Though no cash was reportedly lost, the ATM machine bore multiple signs of damage, rendering it non-functional.
