Court rejects bail of SI Jitendra

Imphal, June 30 2022: The court of District and Sessions Judge, Imphal West on Thursday rejected the bail application of SI Jitendro, who is in judicial custody in connection with the death of goldsmith Arambam Nanao.

Along with the bail rejection, the court fixed July 12 for next hearing of the case.

When SI Jitendro came out from the court room after completion of court hearing, wife of Jitendro, family of late Nanao and locals of both parties nearly came to blows at Cheirap court complex.

However, the police personnel stationed at the court immediately controlled the situation and herded the womenfolk outside the court complex.
