Imphal, March 31 2017: As various parts of the State have been flooded due to heavy rainfall, cleansing of storm water drains has been taken up by Parliamentary Secretary (Mahud) Nahakpam Indrajit in Kshetrigao AC.

Alleging the previous Congress Government of not taking up any step to prevent flood in the AC, Nahakpam Indrajit said that people had to suffer every rainy season.

"Drains need to be cleaned regularly and properly so as to allow easy passage of waste water.

This cleanliness drive has been initiated in order to ease the hardship of the people," he added.
