AR rescues stranded accident victims

Imphal, December 31 2018: Troops of Tulihal Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) rescued five stranded accident victims along National Highway 37 today.

A Maruti A-star car (MN 01W 3453) coming from Keithalmanbi towards Imphal met with an accident when the driver lost control and rammed his vehicle with another car which was parked on the road, at around 5.30 pm.

The A Star car was turned upside down and five individuals were stuck inside the car.

Patsoi COB personnel responded immediately and rescued all the five individuals.

They were taken to the nearest Primary Health Center at Khumbong and were rendered immediate medical aid.
