Imphal, October 30 2024: Lanna-Thouram of 'Major' Gulu will be performed on the third day of Hiyanggei of Meetei lunar calendar (November 4) at his birthplace in Jiribam and Heirok in Thoubal district.

The Jiribam rituals will be performed by Gulu's family and relatives while Oinam Gulu Trust, Heirok and Gulu's elder sister Oinam Ningol Chanam Ongbi Indubala will oversee the religious rituals at Heirok.

Gulu's family members and Oinam Gulu Trust have appealed to people to join the Lanna-Thouram on November 4 for peaceful repose of the departed soul.
