Imphal, June 29 2016: A comprehensive eye camp was organised by Shija Eye Care Foundation in association with AMAKHAK and WFC at Lainingthou Amudon com- munity hall, Sagolband yesterday.

Altogether, 200 people were examined for eye re- lated problems.

15 cataracts and 2 pterygiums were diag- nosed during the camp.

Dr K Romen, consultant ophthalmologist along with other supporting staff of Shija Eye Care Foundation examined the patient.

4 cataract and 2 pterygium patients were transported to Shija Eye Care Foundation, Langol for corrective surgery on the same day, a statement issued by assistant manager (business development) of SHRI said.
