Jiribam DC convenes meeting, officials appointed to help flood affected families

Jiribam, May 29 2024: Jiribam Deputy Commissioner Krishna Kumar, IAS, convened a meeting with the participation of State department heads in view of Jiri River reaching dangerous levels and to discuss other flood related issues this afternoon.

In order to extend help and assistance to people facing the disaster situation, Jiribam District SP was appointed as the Commander and Jiribam ADM as the Deputy Incident Commander cum Overall in-charge of Operation during the meeting.

Department heads in the district were also alerted to keep their respective departments mobilized and to perform their duties smoothly.
