Imphal, September 28 2017: Maj Gen Virendra Singh, IG AR (S) has conveyed heartiest greetings to the people of Manipur on the joyous occasion of Durga Puja .

“Durga Puja marks the victory of righteousness over evil and knowledge over ignorance.

May this festival be an occasion for revival and rejuvenation.

May it inspire us to tread the path of moral rectitude and build a society in which all sections are equally respected,” Maj Gen Virendra Singh said in a greeting message .

He also urged all concerned to pray to Goddess Durga that she shower her blessings on the people and enrich the lives with joy and prosperity.
