Kakching, July 28 2019: Celebrating World Hepatitis Day, Jivan Hospital Kakching hosted a free Hepatitis B and C screening camp at the hospital in Kakching today.

The camp was organised jointly by Jivan Hospital Kakching, Elite Enterprises and Kakching Runners.

Around 210 individuals were screened at the event.

Speaking on the sideline of the programme, Jivan Hospital Kakching Managing Director Dr Y Ashok Kumar said that July 28 is observed as World Hepatitis Day every year.

This year's theme for the observance is "Invest in Eliminating Hepatitis" .
