Chandel ADC appeals

Imphal, February 28 2016:
The ADC, Chandel has demanded the Committee on Protection
of Tribal Rights (CoPoTR), Chandel to open the sealed ADC,
Chandel office at the earliest considering the interest of the office
administration.
In a statement, ADC, Chandel spokesperson Ch Chanthoi
Aimol said that CoPoTR had notified the staff members and
Head of Departments of ADC, Chandel to attend the meeting
on February.
However, they did not attend the meeting since CoPoTR
frequent surprise visits and meetings at ADC, Chandel office
without the permission of the higher authority have been
disturbing the peaceful functioning of the office administra-
tion.
Demanding progress/ achievement report from the Head
of Departments is strongly against the wishes of the higher
authority.
Locking of ADC, Chandel office by CoPoTR on the
ground of failing to attend the meeting is strongly con-
demned.
CoPoTR should open the sealed office for the
smooth functioning of the office administration, the statement
said.
