Noney, October 27 2019: Members of Longmai Nature Club carried out cleanliness drive at Ijei river bank, Noney bazar today to clean the river bank which was clogged by garbage and plastic bottles thrown by the shopkeepers and nearby settlers along Ijei river.

The members collected the plastic bottles to be recycled later.

Due to the continuous heavy rainfall since the last two days, the water level at Ijei river was reportedly running in high level while some paddy field were also reportedly damaged by the overflowing water.
