Imphal, September 27 2019: As part of Government's flagship programme 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan', Thoubal Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) organised a social service camp along with Bhamon Leikai Youth Club and Yairipok Police Station at Yairipok Bazar today.

The camp was aimed to sensitise the local populace about the importance of clean and healthy surroundings.

Awareness lecture on 'Swachh Bharat Mission' was organised.

Locals of the area alongwith troops participated in the cleanliness programme, said a statement of PRO IGAR (South) .
