Bishnupur, June 27 2018: In order to detect and check adulteration of edible oil, Food Safety and Standards Enforcement Officials of Bishnupur conducted an 'edible oil surveillance drive' at food retail shops and whole sale shops of Moirang Bazar under Bishnupur district yesterday.

FSA Designated Officer Y Surendro Singh, FSO Moirangthem Dinesh Singh led the drive in which samples were collected for testing in laboratories.

Few food items with faulty manufactured dates were seized during the drive.

The samples collected will be tested in laboratory at Lamphel, said Y Surendro Singh.
