Imphal, October 26 2012: A one-day district level training programme on rabi crops cultivation was held today at Heirok Part-II Mayai Leikai, Thoubal district.

The programme was organised by District Horticulture and Soil Conservation, Thoubal under Horticulture Mission in NE, 2012-13 .

The programme was attended by local elder Elangbam Achouba Singh; District Officer of DHSC, Thoubal, Lisham Upendra and AO of DHSC Ak Sanajaoba Singh as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Farm Manager of KVK Wangbal, Waikhom Jiten delivered a lecture on Rabi crop plantation as the resource person of the programme which witnessed the participation of around 50 farmers.

Various seeds of Rabi crops were also distributed on the occasion.
