Retaining wall breached

Imphal, April 26 2015 :
There is a 200 metre long collapse of the retaining wall of the drainage at Wangkhei Tokpam Leikai in the Yaiskul constituency.
The debris has blocked the flow of the water.
Talking to reporters, some activists said that this area is the most neglected part in the constituency.
The people had approached the local MLA, councillor and others to have the retaining wall repaired.
However the appeal had fallen on deaf ears.
Once there is seasonal rain the residential areas will be inundated.
