Imphal, March 25 2015: The proscribed PREPAK has refuted any connection whatsoever between the party and Laishram Ganga alias Tomchou Meitei s/o L Amuchou of Sekmaijin Mamang Leikai who was arrested by a combined team of Thoubal commandos and 20 AR from Nungourok on March 22 on the charge of being a cadre of 'PREPAK VC' .

A press release issued by the outfit's department of publicity and propaganda, publicity officer Captain Achouba maintained that there is no UG group by the name of 'PREPAK VC' .

State agencies deliberately used the nomenclature 'PREPAK VC' to project PREPAK as faction-ridden.

Earlier, 'PREPAK VC' was informally used with reference to Ningombam Nabachandra alias Naba alias Nongdrenkhomba (55) of Thangmeiband Hijam Dewan Leikai who is now a deserter.

Since his surrender to the adversary forces, the outfit snapped all connections with Nongdrenkhomba, Captain Achouba added.
