Imphal, December 24, 2013: The DM College Alumni Association will organise a felicitation function at MFDC auditorium on December 31. Chief Minister Okram Ibobi, Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam, Education Minister M Okendro, MP Dr T Meinya, MLA T Mangibabu, DMCAA founder president S Nirmalashashi, Padmashree A Shyam Sharma, DMCAA president Dr S Chaoba will grace the function as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.

DMCAA secretary S Joykumar said that the association would go together with DMC of Commerce, DMC of Science, DMC of Arts and DMC of Teachers' Education from this year.

Guru pujah, felicitation of DMCAA members and meritorious students and musical concert would be the main highlights of the function, he said.

DMCAA was formed in 1987, he said and added that the main objective of the association is to put in effort to upgrade the college to the status of a deemed institute, he added.
