Imphal, October 24 2019: The 12th National Disaster Response Force and League of Callow Patriots Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal Imphal organised mock drill community awareness programme at Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal today.

Speaking at the awareness programme, 12th National Disaster Response Force Team Commander Inspector H Johnson said that the programme aims to demonstrate safety measures to be taken up during disasters including earthquake, flash flood etc and to explain how to administer first aid to victims of disasters.

Maintaining that students will be taught on the necessary safety measures, he added that awareness programmes are being taken up with NGOs in the State.
