Imphal, June 22 2021: A rifleman of 1st Bn Manipur Rifles (MR) who was arrested by police for allegedly spreading false information about COVID-19 vaccination on social media has been sent to 15 days judicial remand.

The rifleman namely Khoisnam Shantikumar (41) son of Jila of Lairenjam Awang (Mekola) was produced before the court of CJM Imphal West through video conferencing on Tuesday and the court sent him to judicial custody till July 6 after perusing the IO's report.
